About this Book: GMI is an anti-cancer component from Ganoderma (Lingzhi) that has achieved a delicate balance between 'safety,' 'effectiveness,' and 'scalable mass production.' The authors' aim is to introduce GMI to a wider international audience, emphasize its transformative potential to turn cancer from a fatal disease into a manageable condition, and facilitate its utilization.

About the Book

The effective anti-cancer compounds claimed in the laboratory are as rare as hen's teeth when it comes to application in the human body, primarily due to the challenge of achieving a balance between "safety," "effectiveness," and "scalable mass production."

However, a significant breakthrough has been achieved with GMI, an immunomodulatory protein derived from a specific type of Ganoderma (Lingzhi) fungus, Ganoderma microsporum.

Especially for elderly and debilitated patients with advanced metastatic cancer, who were initially given only a few months to live, the administration of GMI treatment resulted in an extension of their lifespans and the restoration of their ability to walk with ease. These remarkable outcomes have inspired the authors to share GMI with the world.

Starting from the discovery of Ganoderma microsporum to the present day, with the long-term dedication of numerous research and development personnel, the authors' team has successfully formulated a variety of functional products harnessing GMI.

Among these, the food-grade GMI has been launched in the United States, and users from all around the world have witnessed the miraculous effects of this sublingual tablet, which is as thin as a cicada's wing. Whether it's repairing oral ulcers, reducing inflammatory reactions, alleviating the side effects of targeted drugs, or assisting in anti-cancer treatment, the results are genuinely remarkable.

The Traditional Chinese version of this book, titled "GMI生醫蛋白質,抗癌新藍海," was originally introduced in June 2018. This edition, supported by scientific data and clinical evidence, effectively showcased the remarkable achievements of GMI in the battle against cancer. GMI's groundbreaking work, which has transformed cancer from a fatal disease into a manageable condition, continues to attract significant attention within the Chinese-speaking community.

Now, the authors have compiled the contents of the Traditional Chinese version into this English edition. Their aspiration is to introduce GMI, the result of merging Eastern traditional medical wisdom with Western cutting-edge biotechnology, to a broader international audience, highlight its contributions to human health, and make it accessible for Western audiences to utilize.

Editorial Reviews

“These two scientists are pursuing excellent scientific research achievements and striving to seek continuous breakthroughs in disease treatment to benefit the public. I realize that they have professional integrity. In the world, there are many elites who pursue fame and success, but these two individuals are conscientious and dedicated individuals who do not forget their social responsibility. Therefore, it is with peace of mind that I share this book and information about the authors with society.”
Tang Fe, former Premier of Taiwan

“There is no best medical treatment, only the most suitable one. To cure patients without any side effects is the best result for both doctors and patients. Perhaps the integration of cross-medical models without egocentrism is the answer to creating miracles in healthcare. We can only say that so far, there is no panacea to solve the bane of doctors in this world. However, GMI has provided a significant degree of inspiration. Although there are still many unknown mechanisms to be clarified regarding its application in the human body, the evidence of its effectiveness and harmlessness has given GMI a promising future.”
Michael Lee, Oncologist and author of the book

“Ganoderma microsporum immunomodulatory protein (GMI) is the first Ganoderma protein to be independently mass-produced on a large scale. Its protein structure has been made public, and research utilizing GMI has resulted in over 25 published journal articles to date. Beyond its tumor-fighting capabilities, GMI has been found to possess functions, such as anti-inflammation, antioxidation, immune regulation, promotion of nerve cell growth, stimulation of the division of myoblast cells, induction of stem cell growth and differentiation, inhibition of cellular invasion by SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19), preventing cytokine storms, and so on. It stands as one of the most remarkable biopharmaceutical proteins of this century.”
Ruey-Shyang Hseu, Professor and author of the book
